Cruz Payouts was built to address risk at the point of jackpot payout, converting manual handling into structured, monitored, and defensible workflows aligned to AML/CTF obligations.
Our mission is simple:
To help regulated venues manage payout risk with confidence, operationalise AML/CTF controls in practice, and reduce exposure at one of the highest-risk transaction points in their operations.
Chief Executive Officer
Cody is a fintech entrepreneur with a strong background in financial services, compliance, and blockchain technology.
As co-founder of Cruz, he focuses on building seamless onboarding and verification systems for regulated industries.
Previously, he was recognised as the youngest ever recipient of the Financial Planning Association’s AFP® Australian Financial Planner of the Year Award.
Chief Operating Officer
Tim is a senior executive with nearly two decades’ experience across financial services, private equity and regulated entities. His background spans investment banking and private equity, leading M&A, venture capital and enterprise risk across multiple jurisdictions, regularly leading $20b+ transactions. He runs Brookes Home Office, a private family office, and holds COO and board roles across several sectors. With a family background in retail, pubs, hotels and banking, he oversees operational scale and execution at Cruz.
Chief Revenue Officer
Gerard O’Reilly is responsible for the P&L and strategic direction of Cruz Money’s Financial Services business across APAC. A dynamic fintech and technology leader with a background in compliance, fraud, and cyber risk, Gerard has built a track record of helping private-sector organisations align for high-value growth while managing emerging external threat vectors. With 15 years of consultancy experience, he streamlines objectives using best-practice techniques and develops credible, evidence-based business cases that support transformation with projected returns.
Head of Sales
Tom brings over two decades of experience leading high-value technology sales across cybersecurity, financial crime and enterprise SaaS environments. He has held senior roles with organisations including Feedzai, BAE Systems Applied Intelligence and Synopsys, delivering complex, risk-focused solutions to regulated industries. At Cruz Payouts, Tom leads customer acquisition and onboarding, working closely with operators to implement structured payout workflows with minimal disruption and clear commercial alignment.
Chief Marketing Officer
Richard leads brand, communications, and industry engagement at Cruz Payouts, supporting growth across regulated markets. With over a decade of experience in fintech, digital assets, and compliance-led industries, he specialises in translating complex regulatory and technical frameworks into clear, defensible propositions for boards, operators, and institutional stakeholders. He also works across regulated sectors including pharmaceuticals and financial services, supporting strategic growth in high-compliance environments.
Strategic Advisor
Michael is a senior digital and financial services lawyer with deep expertise in regulatory structuring, compliance and emerging payment technologies. A former partner at Piper Alderman, where he built the firm’s blockchain and fintech practice, Michael advises companies and regulators on navigating complex legal and policy environments.At Cruz Payouts, Michael provides strategic legal oversight, ensuring the platform’s structure, contracts and regulatory positioning align with evolving financial crime and compliance expectations.
